Applications are now open for Detroit Urban Craft Fair 2010, December 4th and 5th at the Fillmore Detroit!

Happy “almost” Easter, everyone! I hope you’re busy getting bunny plans in order
If you remember, Handmade Detroit’s “green” arm is Rethunk and we’ve been a part of the Green Street Fair in downtown Plymouth since its debut. Usually we run a Swap-O-Rama-Rama and a green-themed craft fair, but this year we’re trying something new. We’ll be hosting a “Create Your Own Canvas” station at the fair. Using embroidery hoops, donated clothes, vintage fabric and all sorts of artsy additions, you can make your own work of art right at the fair. We can’t wait to see what fantastic creations are made!
Our Green Street activities have always been free of charge. This year, though, we need a lil’ $$ help. That’s why we turned to Kickstarter, a great way for folks and groups to raise funds for their great ideas. Seriously, get to know this site. We’re hoping to raise at least $300 for Rethunk supplies. If you’re able/interested in donating, please check out our Rethunk Kickstarter page to learn more.
Thanks so much!
