Save the Date! Detroit Urban Craft Fair 2010 will be December 4th and 5th at the Fillmore Detroit!
Handmade Detroit will be hosting the Rethunk Craft Fair again at this year’s Green Street Fair in downtown Plymouth May 1-3. Since this fair is all about being green, we’re looking for vendors with products that either promote a green lifestyle or contain recycled/repurposed parts.
This year a six-foot spot will be $40/day in our outdoor covered tent. This includes lunch and a lil’ Rethunk present. Feel free to set up your display (table, rack, etc.) however you’d like! You can apply for just one day or all three. Did we mention we had some discounts this year, too? If you’d like to apply for all three days, it’s $100. If you’re applying for just one day and would like to volunteer during the fair at the Swap-O-Rama-Rama sewing tent or just help out in general, the vendor fee is $30.
To apply, simply send an e-mail to bethany (at) rewarevintage (dot) com with:
Applications are due Monday, April 13 by 5 p.m. We’ll announce the vendor list Wednesday, April 15.
If you’re not interested in selling this time around and would like to volunteer, we’d love to have you! Again, e-mail Bethany at bethany (at) rewarevintage (dot) com. We’ve got lots of ways to get involved!
Looking forward to some green crafting with everyone!
Lots of Green Crafty Love,
Lish and Beth

Hope to see lots of return vendors from last year. I promise that I won’t “help” clear the water off the tent roof if we have rain again this year!

Hey Michela!
I saw your comment on the Handmade Detroit blog. Swap-O-Rama-Rama is a nationwide event where people can learn how to sew, from beginner to advanced. We host the Detroit version every spring. If you’d like to come out, and you should!, you can work on a project in our sewing tent. We’ll have sewing stations set up for people to use.
You don’t need to bring anything, but if you have old clothing or fabric you’d like to donate, we’d really appreciate it!
Thanks again, and hope to see you in Plymouth this weekend!
