Meet Your 2021 DUCF Makers!

Detroit Urban Craft Fair is less than 3 weeks away, and we are beyond excited!

December 3rd-5th, Handmade Detroit will bring Michigan’s largest and longest-running indie craft fair BACK IN PERSON to the Masonic Temple for our 16th year, with over 100 juried makers & artists! These creatives will selling a wide variety of unique holiday gifts, and with classic music, yummy food, and a historic setting, it’s a festive weekend you’ll want to share with family and friends once again.

Our carefully selected vendors combine traditional craftsmanship with modern style. No matter who you are shopping for, we’ve got jewelry, clothing, accessories, home decor, bath & body products, and children’s items that are sure to be the perfect handmade surprises for everyone on your list, and ready to go home with you that day, no waiting for shipping!

COVID ERA POLICIES:

Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours is required to enter for those 12 and up, and masks are strongly encouraged.

Masks are required for all childen 11 years and under.

We will NOT be serving food to the public, so make sure to grab some food nearby and support our local restaurants!

Opening night, Friday December 3rd, will give shoppers a chance to shop first and enjoy special Friday-night-only activities from 6-9pm. Dance DJ Mike Trombley will be spinning and all 100+ vendors will be selling at this exclusive first-look opportunity.

There will be featured make & takes, including a pen and ink lettering mini-workshop with Hazel and Dolly’s Rachel Barlock, a live streamed craft installation by Cool Critters’ Jessica Sheeran, and other surprises in store to experience! The bar will be open for refreshments. 

Admission to opening night on Friday night (12/3) is $10 each for all ages.

Saturday and Sunday
10-7pm  and 11-6pm

Gooseneck Coffee will be serving hot coffee, DJ Dave Lawsonwill spin a mix of old favorites, forgotten gems, and seasonal classics, and AR Workshop will be hosting a kids crafty corner from 1-5pm each day.

The interior of the Masonic Temple will transport you to the glamorous celebrations of the 1920s, and of course, our makers will make sure you’ll be giving gifts to your loved ones that will always be treasured.

Shopping will feel extra special this year, and you can feel great about getting your holiday shopping done with local makers who are thrilled to have holiday shows back again!

12-5pm $2 each (kids 12 & under free)
5-7pm Donations accepted
The first 50 shoppers on Saturday morning will receive free swag bags!
