The HD Decoration Station returns to Rust Belt Market

Halloween stuff is on sale. The iconic Rockefeller Center tree was delivered this morning. Things are kicking into high gear for the holiday season! For us crafter types, we don’t take the holiday countdown lightly, we’re going break-neck speed until dinner is served! One of the fun tasks I take on for Detroit Urban Craft Fair every year is decor. Last year’s handmade lighted tree was such a hit we decided to bring back the Decoration Station!

For the next several weekends you can find it located at Rust Belt Market, our show sponsors’ amazing makers market in downtown Ferndale. It’s on wheels so it will float day by day, but here it is!

Ta-da!

Ta-da!

Long strips of white paper are ready for your Holiday doodles, wishes, notes to Santa – for any age! Make one, or several! Here’s my trusty model making a “peppermint stick”, a favorite treat.

Small, steady hand...

And when you’re through don’t forget to drop it in the drop box!  Everything will be gathered up and your art will be used to make DUCF extra cheery!

Thank you, miss!

Thank you, miss!

Don’t forget to come down to the Masonic Temple December 6th and 7th and look for your contribution! We are so excited to see what everyone makes and cannot wait for craft fair to get here, it’s the most wonderful time of year!
