I like anything written by an author with the name “Stitchy McYarnpants.” That just screams genius to me. McYarnpants has been collecting these gawd-awful knit nightmares for quite some time, and this book is one big, scary roundup.

Everything from hotpants (I can’t imagine wearing wool Daisy Dukes in the summer, can you?) to blanket dresses are presented. With a smarmy review and lucious color picture for each entry, McYarnpants (I will never get tired of typing that) has it all. My personal favorite? A beach cover-up that McYarnpants gives the title, “Every Day Can Be Just Like Your Last Pap Smear.” Look at the picture and you’ll see why…

This book is great for your favorite knitter with the following note attached: “DON’T EVER MAKE ME WOOL HOT PANTS. LOVE, LISH.” Remember, history has a way of repeating itself…
