Create, make, promote with Council C!

A great opportunity for Detroiters from the awesome folks at Councilc

Council C Print – Submit today!
Council C is developing our first print issue! We are currently seeking your ideas for what we should include.

FOR FEATURES/EDITORIAL
We want to let everyone know about your creativity! Do you have a creative business or cause that could use some publicity? Do you have a band that needs to be heard? Do you have an awesome DIY project to share?

Editorial will highlight your creative ventures, and provide tutorials to inspire our readers. If you would like to promote yourself or share a tutorial, email the following to editor@councilc.com :

– Your name
– Your e-mail address
– Your idea for the feature
– A short summary of who you are and what you do.
– Either a link to your work or attached photos of your work. (If applicable)

FOR ART SUBMISSIONS
Are you an artist or designer? We want to include your work in our first print issue! Similar to our webzine, we are planning a gallery of submitted art in our print issue. Additionally, we will select one artist from all submitters to be the feature artist of the issue!

We can not include every submission in our print issue, but our web version will continue to. As a result, we recommend that all art is submitted in color for our webzine first. To be considered for print, include a note saying that you have a high resolution version available and would like to be considered.

All art submissions will be eligible for an artist feature. If you are selected for a feature, we will contact you for more information.

– Art for print must be 300dpi and will be printed Black & White
– All interested should email submissions to councilc@councilc.com

The issue will be available for purchase online, and the cost will be kept as low as possible. We expect it will be around $5. We anticipate a release in late 2006. Contributors will receive a tear sheet and some Council C goodies. This is a great opportunity for exposure, and we urge everyone to share their ideas.
