Looking for a good way to spend your Saturday? Well, don’t miss Knit Michigan, an annual fundraiser supporting cancer patients and their families. Last year Beth and I checked it out and had a great time.

You don’t have to be a pro knitter to enjoy this event. Specific ticket levels allow get you hand-on activities or simply the chance to wander around and meet other fiber art enthusiasts. The proceeds all go to a great cause.

I’m not the world’s best knitter (stop laughing), but I loved checking out all of the Michigan stores that set up shop and offered amazing yarns, supplies and project.
