Twenty years.
Twenty years of makers, community, creativity, and connection — and this year was our biggest, most successful Detroit Urban Craft Fair ever. Our hearts are absolutely full.
Thank you to every single person who walked through those doors, shopped local, supported artists, made new connections, and helped fill one historic room with so much love and community. You made year 20 unforgettable.
Huge gratitude to the Masonic Temple for being such a wonderful home, to our incredible volunteers who kept everything running smoothly, to DJ Dave for keeping the energy perfect all weekend, and to Doug Coombe for capturing the magic through his photos.
Big thanks to the Nain Rouge, Detroit Party Marching Band and Detroit Derby Girls for making this year’s celebration even more magical.
Thank you to Stephanie for PR, Sadie for socials, and to everyone behind the scenes who helped bring this milestone year to life.
Lastly, without the talents of Amy Cronkite, Lish Dorset and Stephanie Tardy Duimstra, who founded Handmade Detroit with us, DUCF would have never started and evolved to hit this milestone. Love to each of these ladies!
From Carey and Beth — thank you for 20 unbelievable years.
Here’s to the makers, the supporters, the friendships, and the magic you all bring to Detroit.
We couldn’t do any of this without you. ❤️
