We hope you’ve enjoyed our 9 week long virtual version of DUCF! It was certainly different from our usual weekend in the Masonic Temple’s Drill Hall, and yet we still have our passion for creativity and feel the love in our community that warms our hearts each year during the fair.
We’d like to thank all of you who shopped local with our 112 Michigan Makers of DUCF online this year, who took the time to get to know each of them through their Instagram takeovers, and shared the DUCF website with their friends and family. Big thanks to our sponsors as well, who helped make this year’s DUCF pivot possible this year. We know this year has been challenging for all of us. Thank you from our artists and crafters, and the Handmade Detroit team – each of you made our holiday season brighter.
DUCF may be over, but we will be leaving the site with all of our vendors listed through the end of the year and months into 2021 after, so you can still go back and visit to keep shopping small & local online.
We will also continue to post on the Handmade Detroit Instagram and Facebook pages about makers in the community, opportunities for you to learn new crafting skills, and both online and in-person shopping opportunities in the Metro Detroit area in the future!
If you have had a great time shopping DUCF this year and in years past, and want to support our year-round work to promote the creative community in Metro-Detroit, we ask you to consider donating online to Handmade Detroit to help support our team. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
Thank you again, have a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year!
