If you’re a crafty business owner from the Midwest — or thinking about trying your hand at selling your crafts — then you should know about the Midwest Craft Caucus, to be held June 4 and 5 in Columbus, Ohio. The Caucus will gather over 100 handmade business owners and organizers to talk shop about sustainable and solid business foundations and growth. Sessions are planned on topics such as: Building a Brand, The Craft Fair Experience, Financial Planning, Working with Retailers and more. Learn more about the Caucus after the jump.
Caucus presenters are all from the Midwest, and a few of the Handmade Detroit ladies (Amy, Lish and myself) will be headed to Columbus to help lead some of the workshops and participate in panels. Check out the full lineup of sessions (with descriptions to come soon).
Saturday night will feature the Crafty Showcase Showdown, hosted by Craftin’ Outlaws, featuring a Craft Corner Deathmatch that challenges teams of two to fast and furious craft matches as well as a Crafty Plinko set and Midwest vendors.
Registration is open now but space is super limited, so if you’re interested, sign up soon! Learn more about the Craft Caucus or fan them on Facebook for the latest updates.
