It’s amazing to think that after a year of planning, the very first Detroit Maker Faire is just days away. In addition to the crew at MAKE and CRAFT, there have been so many fantastic people and groups in this state that have been working very hard to make this all happen. I can’t wait to see it all come together.

From all of us here at Handmade Detroit, we hope that you come check out this special event and spend some time enjoying all of the exciting exhibits, take a peek at the Henry Ford, and take a stroll through Greenfield Village. With our busy schedules and media reports that aren’t always the brightest, we tend to forget all of the fantastic resources we have right in our backyard.
