It’s that time again. With a little less than one month until the Detroit Urban Craft Fair (Nov. 15) we are seeking volunteers.
Volunteers do everything from distributing posters to DUCF-day stuff like greeting shoppers and decorating. We are happy that people talk about the DUCF experience as one of their favorites — and volunteers are our secret weapon to that goal. {We also thank our volunteers with swag and food and whatever else fun that comes from the day — and we are happy to sign community service slips as well.}
Interested? We will be holding a volunteer call and sign making party on Sunday, Oct. 26 from noon to 4 p.m. in the WAB Lounge (that’s downstairs) at the Woodward Avenue Brewers in Ferndale, one block south of 9 Mile Road on the east side of Woodward Ave. Even if you can’t help Nov. 15th, you can still come to this meeting for posters and/or to help make DUCF signs.
If you can’t make the meeting, but still want to help, awesome! Just e-mail your availability to stephanie {AT!} handmadedetroit {DOT!] com and we will be in touch next week with more details.
Please pass this along to friends!
Thanks so much!
