Apps are officially OPEN for the Detroit Urban Craft Fair! You have until September 25th to take some photos showcasing your best modern works, designs and styles and then apply for your chance to be a vendor at the 13th annual Detroit Urban Craft Fair!
For those of you who have not attended or sold at Detroit Urban Craft Fair yet, hello! Here’s an introduction: DUCF is Michigan’s largest and longest-running indie craft fair and we are returning to the world’s largest Masonic Temple, December 1st-3rd in Detroit. Your original, modern handmade crafts or packaged craft foods could be featured there! With more than 10,000 holiday shoppers expected, DUCF is the perfect showcase for your one-of-a-kind handiwork, and with its festive music and historic setting, it’s a weekend you’ll enjoy taking part in.
If you are a long-time shopper/vendor, please know that every year is a reboot. We look for best and brightest for our loyal shoppers and always look to keep it fresh with a mix of brand new crafters, returns and long-standing participants.
New and returning applicants – We can’t stress enough how important it is to take the time to read our FAQs top to bottom before applying – this year there are some changes you’ll want to know about!
This show is a labor of love and a lot of work for us! This is the best part of the year, cracking open everyone’s applications and seeing what makers near and far have been busy working on! In 8 weeks time we will brace ourselves for the most difficult part of the process, sending acceptance and rejection notifications. Know that every single application is combed over. Everything is read by our experienced and thoughtful jury. Know that people that haven’t gotten in in years past have been accepted later. Also, long-time vendors do not have forever-passes, we use a formula that is unique to us and have proven for a long time to keep us true in our decision making.
