It’s not too late to apply to Handmade Detroit’s Craft Revival 2010! Deadline to apply is Feb. 15 at midnight! Apply here.
Not to wish the summer away or anything, but Ferndale’s D.I.Y. Street Fair is on it’s way!
Last year’s brand new event jumped out from behind a tree it seemed, and knocked everyone out! Two days of beautiful weather, tons of new artists and crafters to see, a full schedule of amazing local bands, kids stuff, Michigan-brewed beer — it was wonderful.
DIYSF will return on the same weekend, September 19th & 20, 2009 and this year adding “D.I.Y. EVE”; a pre-show concert on Friday night.
I’m happy to be back on the team and I can tell you the word is out! The first wave of applications (including Handmade Detroit’s return) have been reviewed and proves to be another exciting year of indie treasures.
Team DIYSF wants everyone in the area and beyond to know that applications are up until August 1st! Check out www.diystreetfair.com if you’re interested in selling (shared spaces are OK) or even volunteering! Tons of advertising opportunities as well.
