Acrylic tips and tricks with Danielle Maveal

Steph, Taryn of Talking Squid and I spent an afternoon with Danielle Maveal doing a test run for her upcoming workshops at the Etsy Labs in Brooklyn. Her first workshop of the day focused on etching, but we were there for acrylic magic. Take a look at some of these photos to see us in action, and head over to Flickr to see the whole set. Are there any acrylic fans out there?

[...] Remember when some of the HD gals took a plastic lesson from Danielle? Well, she put her teaching skills to the test and it looks like the participants had some awesome results! [...]

This was totally fun! I’ve been thinking of ways to pair fabric and acrylic to make some neat pendants….we should have another workshop for sure! Any links or tips on working with acrylic that I’m missing?
